Kath Page, who has been Head of Music at the Clere School for nine years is leaving, to take up a new post co-ordinating music resources for the education department at Southampton City Council.
The School held a Musical Celebration, in recognition of her work for the school, which raised money for Cancer Research.
"Kath has really put music at the Clere on the map, and it was marvellous to see some 30 ex-pupils come back to the school to say good-bye and thank you to her. The concert was organised by the pupils, and it showed how much talent there is in the school, nurtured and encouraged by Kath."
