Sir George presents prizes at Barnardos Golf Day
10 May 2007
A Test Valley Golf Day was organised by the Barnardo’s Andover Professionals Fundraising Group, comprising local businessmen Mark Hyson, Jan Budzynski, Steve Leathley and Craig Rochford. "Over £4,600 was raised today, which means that in their 8th year of support the group will have donated over £30,000 towards Barnardo’s local work helping children and young people in care, care leavers, and also vulnerable young women at risk of, or actually been abused through sexual exploitation."

"From Barnardo's Tricia Allin did a heroic job helping to run the event and, despite some rain towards the end of the day, most of the teams completed the course. Test valley Golf Club, near Overton was a superb venu."

The team cup was won by Langdowns, shown in the photo.

The Winning Langdowns Team (004) comprised Neil Raynsford, Kevin Howett, Kevin Flain and John Gornell.
