The traditional Mucky Duck Race was held to raise funds for the Amport School Building Appeal.
"The Darbyshire family did a great job in running this traditional event. The ducks are tipped in to the river from the bridge by the village hall, and the finishing post is conveniently in the grounds of the Black Swan (alias Mucky Duck."

With a number of stalls on the green, this has become a popular event to raise funds for a range of local causes, from the school to the village hall and the Church.
