Tim Deery, Headteacher at Hurstbourne Tarrant Church of England Primary School, helped raise funds for the school by allowing parents and pupils to throw wet sponges at him.
"Fortunately for Tim, it was a hot day so he could cool off under fire."
Another star attraction was the stall of French produce, to be one by the person who correctly guessed the weight, either in kilos or pounds.

"This is Tim's last term at the school, and his will be a hard act to follow. However we have not lost his talents, as he is moving to take over Portway Junior School in Andover."
