TV Property Celebrity, Sarah Beeny, joined her parents-in-law who live in Penton Mewsey, to open the Village Fete.
"The fete raises money for the Church and the Penton Recreational Centre. Features included dance teams, a gun dog display, a tug-of-war and a grand prize draw."
It started at 1.45pm with the gathering of children in fancy dress and an opening procession at 2pm, when Sarah Beeny officially opened the fete at the end of the procession.

"Despite the terrible forecast, the fete took place in bright sunshine and there was a record turnout. As always, there was a wide range of attractions."
