The Chairman of Hampshire County Council, Cllr Mrs Devereux and the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Mrs Pam Mutton both spoke before the launch of the Dreams Exhibition at Andover Museum.

This exhibition is the culmination of a year long art project for people with learning disabilities in Andover, and this exhbition celebrates the achievements of all who have contributed to the project through their artwork.

About sixty works of art were on show, and Sir George showed a particular interest in one depicting a monster evicting Tony Blair from Number 10.

"This exhibition provides a platform for people with learning disabilities in the Andover area who have artistic talents. Residents from Enham Alamein as well as pupils at Icknield School and those who use Andover Day Service contributed their works, and there were some really imaginative paintings."

The exhibition will run from July 7th to August 25th.
