STOP - the campaign to persuade Test Valley Borough Council to turn down the application for a megashed on Andover Airfield - hired the hall at John Hanson School to give people in Andover an opportunity to find out what was proposed.

"The campaign began in the villages, but it is spreading to the town as people become concerned at the implications for the local economy if the megashed goes ahead."

At the meeting there were reports back from meetings with Tesco's and Goodmans (the applicants). Presentations were given by Sir George Young, Mike Cleugh, Ian Marshall and Peter Jopling. The meeting was chaired by Deborah Graham, Chairman of Penton Grafton Parish council.
