Sir George visited the Hawk Conservancy in Amport to catch up on their work to conserve the Oriental White-Backed Vulture.

"The Hawk Conservancy has been working with WWF-Pakistan to maintain a conservation breeding facility for these birds in Pakistan. They are dying out because of the medicine fed to the cattle they feed off. Fizel has come over from Pakistan on a short visit to get an insight into the conservation work being done in the UK before returning home. (For more details, click on the link below)

"Despite the indifferent weather, the Conservancy has had a successful year, with the hospitality side of the business building up well. I am proud to have this great attraction in the constituency, and of the work that Ashley Smith and his team are doing."
