Sir George fights for Newtown Common Residents

On Wednesday June 15th, the House of Commons debated and then voted on amendments to the Countryside and Rights of Way Bill, moved by Sir George Young. These amendments were designed to protect his constituents from demands from Bakewell Management for substantail sums to enable them to continue to drive backwards and forwards to and from their homes.
