Jean Pittfield and five other residents in Wildhern opened their gardens to raise funds in aid of the Parkinsons Disease Society.

"As it turned out, they were very lucky with the weather and I guess about 100 people went round the gardens, and also round Tom's Wood. For £5, this was very good value, with a cup of tea and a piece of cake at the Village Hall at the end. There was a good display of daffodils, some tulips and primroses - and some very well laid-out grounds."
