Upper Clatford and Anna Valley held their annual May Fayre on Balksbury Playing Field.
This year's theme was the circus, with the organisers entering into the spirit by dressing up, principally as clowns.
"Last year, the Fayre raised over £4,000 for local causes and, judging by the turnout this year, they will raise more in 2008."
The traditional raft race was held in the river, and there was also a beer tent, a hog roast, and duck races; with Jonathan the Jester juggling knives over local children.
