"Pants in the Park" was an opportunity to run 5 km and raise vital funds and awareness for Prostate UK.
All participants were invited to wear their pants - Superman style - outside their clothes.
Pamnts in the Park was sponsored by Simply Health and Prostate UK - the only national charity dealing with all forms of prostate disease.

"One in two men will suffer from prostate disease at some point in their lives, and Prostate UK seeks to limit the damage this causes by raising awareness, providing information, funding research, and training medical professionals, all without any government funding."

"Some 300 runners took part in this well-organised event - the first time it has happened here in Andover. And they had 100 supporters who also came. I applaud the work of those who got the show on the road - everyone had a great time and raised a useful sum of money for the charity; and raised awareness of prostate illnesses. I was delighted to hear they plan to repeat the event again in Andover next year."
