Sir George has backed the campaign, launched by the Kinsella family, to reduce the incidence of knife crime.
"We don't have a serious problem in Andover; but no one wants to see what is happening in London spread. I applaud what Lauren and her family are doing when they must have so much on their minds"

Ben was stabbed to death in North London on June 29th, and the family have launched a national campaign "Stop Knives, Save Lives" Sir George signed the petition, and asked Lauren, Ben's aunt, to keep him in the picture. He said he would help in any way he could.
