The STOP Campaign, which wants to see a Business Park on the Andover Airfield site and not a giant warehouse, handed in a petition of over 5000 signatures to the Chief Executive of Test Valley Borough Council, Roger Tetstall.
Handing it over, Rhonda Smith, who has spearheaded the campaign, said that more signatures were on the way, and they demonstrated the strength of feeling locally against the proposals.

"Rhonda and the team have done a superb job in analysing the application, teasing out the weak points and unanswered questions; and explaining to councillors why, for planning reasons, the application should be turned down when it is considered at the beginning of next month."
