Andover Young Carers held their first Summer Fete at King Arthurs Hall, King Arthurs Way in Andover.
Sir George opened the fete, which was supported by the Mayor and Mayoress of Andover, Brian and Dorothy Page; by County Councillor David Kirk, and by Councillors Sandra Hawke, Pam Mutton and Jan Lovell.

Sir George congratulated Iris Anderson for all her work in organising the fete, and praised the work of Andover Young Carers, under the leadership of Lorena Burlison.
The proceeds from the fete will go towards the purchase of a minibus.
Attractions inside the hall were a Kick Boxing Demonstration, Belly Dancing and Face Painting.
"It was good to see Hampshire Air Ambulance at the fete, raising their profile and raising funds, and the TVBC Recycling Stall. AYC is one of the town's finest charities and it is a realy pleasure to support their work at the fete."
