Sir George talks to Sue Gates, at whose home in Stoneyheath Ramsdell branch Conservatives held their traditional Summer Supper.
Roy Perry MEP criticised the arrangements introduced by Labour for electing MEP's, saying that the huge South East region was not a sensible constituency. For this reason, the five Conservative MEP's had divided up the counties, and he looked after Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Sir George said that the mood in the House of Commons had changed dramatically over the past few weeks, and what commentators had thought unbelievable a year ago was now being talked about by them as a real possibility - a Hague administration within a year.
