All Saints Church, Upper Clatford, and St Peter's Church, Goodworth Clatford held a flower festival, in order to raise funds for the church.

"The theme at All Saints Church, Upper Clatford was children's books, and there were some really imaginative entries. Displays were arranged by church groups, local schools, a variety of village organisations and individual members of the All Saints congregation. The picture shown is The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, arranged by the Rev David Broad and Lynda Gent. Len Piper, who recently retired as the organist at All Saints was playing the organ during part of the display.

At St Peter's, visitors to the flower display also had an opportunity to ring the bells, and teas were available at both locations.

"On one of the hottest days of the year, it was marvellous to spend some time inside these two cool churches, enjoying fabulous displays of flowers."
