For the third year running, Streets Ahead organised a football festival for children and young adults who are unable to play in mainstream football teams.

"I applaud the work which Martin Tobin, the senior coach, and Sue Simmonds the group secretary have done to promote the enjoyment of football amongst football fans who for health reasons, cannot play in the local leagues".

This year, in addition to Streets Ahead, Bournemouth AFC, Southampton FC, Four Clubs FC and Isle of Wight Inclusive came along for the tournament.

Streets Ahead are sponsored by HSA, Andover New Street Football Club - who hosted the event - and the Football Foundation. The medals for the event were sponsored by Testway League, and Round Table provided a bouncy castle used by the teams when they weren't on the pitch.

"This was the first time I had been back to Andover New Street since they extended the club premises, and they have done a superb job in including the facilities there. This was a great day out for all those involved."
