Leslie Barry, the postmistress at Enham Alamein, celebrated her 50th birthday with a Hog Roast at the Post Office and Shop in Enham. Her birthday coincided with 50 years of Londis Trading -Londis supplying the shop.

Londis sponsored a variety of entertainments on the day for children, and the Hog Roast raised the profile of Enham Butchers - recently opened within the shop.

"This was a marvellous event which brought the village together, and was very well supported. It was good to see Cllr Janet Whiteley and County Cllr Pam Mutton also supporting the event".
