Dunnings Funeral Service celebrated the completion of substantial works at their building in Church Close by dedicating the new Chapel of Rest, and inviting the local MP Sir George to cut the ribbon.

At the service, the Reverend Peter Codd (Catholic Priest for the Andover and Whitchurch Parish) introduced the service, which was followed by a reading from The Reverend Jill Bentall, Rural Dean of Andover, and The Reverend Peter Catford (Superintendent Minister of Andover Methodist circuit)said prayers at the end.

After this short service, Sir George cut the ribbon, and declared his interest as the North West Hampshire Conservative Association were tenants of Dunnings, occupying a room on the first floor. Sir George congratulated the architects and builders on restoring a listed building, and for providing an even better environment both for staff and for customers.
