The traditional Countryside Day at Sparsholt College was held over the weekend, providing a shop window for what happens both at Sparsholt College and at Andover College.
In the building promoting courses at Andover College, visitors can have their hair cut. County Cllr David Kirk, Executive Lead Member for Children's Services, took up the offer.
In the village green, there was a series of displays, including birds of prey and Morris dancing. Elsewhere people could buy plants from the greenhouses, buy organic produce and watch cows being milked.
Other activities included air rifle shooting, clay shooting and archery.
There was also a climbing wall and other sports activies including equestrian events.
"This was a very good shop window for Sparsholt College, and it was good to see a huge number of people taking advantage of the Open Day with their families".
