Sir George opened the Crux Easton fair, held at the Manor House.
"This is raising funds for St Michael and All Angels, probably the highest church in the county of Hampshire. Crux Easton is a small community, and they do well to help raise funds for the local church".
With Sir George was the rector, Christine Dale, who has recently taken on responsibility for the church when the Benefice was re-organised. Matt Deery, the neighbourhood police office was also present.
