Andover Flower Club is one of the oldest in England, and it celebrated its 55 years with a special demonstration at St Ann's, Suffolk Road, to which they invited the Mayor and Mayoress of Test Valley, Cllr Chris and Frances Lynn, together with the local MP, Sir George and his wife.

"They had a splendid cake to celebrate the event, and although it was August there was a very high turnout of members".

There was a display of flowers with a theme of celebration, to mark the event and the guests enjoyed a glass of champagne before the demonstration by guest demonstrator David Martin.
