Sir George looked in at a number of stalls at the Goodworth Clatford Village Fete, including the CADs fundraising wheel. The Clatford's Amateur Dramatic Society puts on two productions a year and they are normally a sell out.

Sir George and Aurelia also looked in at the greening Goodworth Clatford stall and bought tickets for the wormery. This is a method of disposing of kitchen waste in an environmentally way that saves landfill. "I applaud what Richard Rider and the team have been doing in Goodworth Clatford to raise environmental awareness. A number of people responded to the challenge to help save the planet in a number of ways, such as reducing energy consumption and then putting a little sticker in their window to encourage others to do the same." The cups for the winners of the flower show represented by the Deputy Mayor, Cllr Zilliah Brooks."
