Whitchurch resident Mike Bushell, the well known BBC Sports Commentator, opened the Children's Room at the Minor Injuries Unit at Andover Hospital. The room had a mural painted by Zoe McKellar, who was a student at Peter Simmons College at Winchester.

Also at the official opening was the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Chris Lynn and Lady Young. The mural was sponsored by Will and Mark Cooper, and nurse practitioner Margaret Clacher was also helping to officiate.

"I very much welcome this new facility, with Zoe's mural which shows a scene from Africa, featuring animals, insects and birds, which will be of enormous interest to the children.

The mural took around 96 hours to complete, and Mike Gretton the Chairman of the Winchester and Eastleigh NHS Trust officially thanked Zoe for the work that had gone into the mural."
