The White Horse Inn in Thruxton, established around 1451, has changed hands, and the new owner, John Ford, invited locals to an Opening Night.

"It was good to see the pub so well patronised, and I wish John Ford and his team every success in running the White Horse".

Situated between Thruxton and East Cholderton, underneath the A303, the White Horse has low beams and a thatched roof. It was taken over in 2006 and extensively refurbished, and recently changed hands, and was bought by the owner of The Greyhound in Stockbridge.
