A concert was held at Tangley Church raising money both for the church and also for the charity "Music for Hospitals".
The concert was given by David Owen Norris, and Cantores Michaelis, comprising the Choral Scholars of the University of Southampton.
They sang a programme of Glees and other English music, interspersed with recitals of organ music by David Owen Norris. "This was a beautifully balanced concert, with some high quality music that is not often performed. David Owen Norris's voluntaries on the organ by John Stanley, William Boyce and James Hook were splendid, and the five singers gave some beautiful renditions of Glees, ending with Sir Arthur Sullivan's The Long Day Closes."
The singers, from right to left were Lauren Else,Nicholas Bromilow Tanner, Hannah Mansell , Christopher Coleman and Kayleigh Conway-Jarrett. The event was organised by Rosie Swayne.
