Sir George went to the new premises of EMPRA in Bridge Street, and cut the ribbon to launch the new venture. "It was good to meet up with Joe Scicluna and Ruth Sparkes again; Joe I have known for 15 years, when he edited the Andover Advertiser from the time I became an MP. I remember Ruth from when she was working at Cricklade College." Ruth Sparkes has developed her own business helping colleges with promotion. Her business has developed and it has moved from her home to offices on the first and second floor in Bridge Street. To broaden the customer base of EMPRA, Joe Scicluna has joined to expand the services to the commercial sector in Hampshire. "Joe has enormous expertise in publicity, and will help business with their websites, with press releases and their marketing. As the local MP, I am always delighted to see new enterprises starting up in the town, and I was particularly happy to cut the ribbon for this one, as I know both the principals involved. I wish them every success."
