Elizabeth and Mark Maclay hosted the 40th Daffodil Sunday at their home at Sladen Green. This raised funds for the local charity, Andover Riding for the Disabled. The Daffodil Sunday comprises two gardens with woodland walks, home made teas, a plant stall, cakes and raffle. "They could not have chosen a better Sunday, both for the weather, and to get the daffodils at their best." This year, Andover RDA is celebrating its 40th Anniversary. From very small beginnings of just a few children, they now have some 80 riders, aged between 4 and 92. Andover RDA continues to be the largest RDA group in the south region, giving riders a sense of achievement, enjoyment, therapy, self esteem, independence, but especially fun.
"Top marks to the Maclay family for hosting this event". Sir George was photographed with Gemma Orange, Elizabeth and Mark Maclay's grandaughter.
