The theme for this year's Upper Clatford and Anna Valley May Fayre was the 2012 Olympic Games, with stallholders and visitors challenged to dress up as either competitors, officials or sponsors of the Games.

Beginning at 2pm and ending 4.30pm, one of the traditional attractions is the Model Raft Competition, divided into three age categories.

"All profits from the May Fayre are distributed to local organisations, and local organisations that might qualify are invited to contact Stephen O'Connell (stephenoconnell@btinternet.com) for a form. The beer tent was a popular attraction, along with a display by the Keiko Judo Club and a fancy dress competition. Master of Ceremonies was George Bacon, who gave the whole event momentum".
