Sir George opened a new suite of computers at Knights Enham school. "I was delighted to see this new resource at Knights Enham, and see the children benefitting from it on the very first day. Previously, it was impossible to teach a class or half a class, as there weren't enough PC's; they had to take it in turns. Now 10 can have a go at a time."

* The school has had an ICT suite installed in the purpose built ICT area.
* The suite boasts 10 networked PCs installed by Hampshire
Microtechnology Centre (HMTC), which is part of the local education
authority.
* The computers will provide opportunities for all children within the school
to use the information and communication technology in a wide range of
curriculum areas-
* Part of the funding has come from the NGfL (National Grid for Learning)
and the rest from the school's budget.
* The suite will also have a laser printer, scanner end digital camera.
* The children now enjoy having more opportunity to
access computers.
