Despite the unpromising weather, Hurstbourne Priors held their traditional May Fair, raising funds for St Andrew's Church, the village hall, and the recreation ground. Highlights included a traditional maypole dance, juggling, and a circus workshop.
"Although it was a lot colder than usual, the organisers did well to attract as many people as they did, and they will have raised a useful sum of money for these three local causes".
