Andover Town Council celebrated the Diamond Jubilee by installing a plaque on the outside of the Guild Hall, which can be illuminated at night.

The chairman of Andover Town Council, David Drew, and other councillors attended a service, led by the Rev Canon John Harkin, which commemorated the plaque. At the service, a poem dedication was read by Cllr Phil North, and a Diamond Jubilee tribute was read out by Cllr Barbara Long. The service was attended by members of the public, who joined in the hymns and the prayers.
