The monthly Woolton Hill Village Market, held at St Thomas church hall, had an added attraction this month, as children were taught how to make pizzas, and then bake them in an oven. "This Village Market has gone from strength to strength, and the pizza table was an added attraction this month. Children could roll their own pastry, and then select a variety of toppings before cooking the pizza in an oven. Experts were on hand to explain about nutrition and, along with the local vicar, Christine Dale, I was allowed to help with the preparation."
Also at the market, for the first time, was a stall provided by the nearby Headley village shop, making their produce available to residents of Woolton Hill. "It was good to see the village shop from Headley supporting a neighbouring local market, hopefully increasing their turnover, and adding to the attraction of the Woolton Hill Market."
