The National Charity Scope opened a shop opposite the Guildhall in Andover. It was formally opened by ex Mayor of Test Valley Zilliah Brooks, and Sir George looked in afterwards. "Scope have made the Shop Front look really smart, and they have a ten year lease which indicates that they are here to stay. I was very impressed by the quality of the goods in the shop, and hope they raise a useful sum of money for this important charity. "

Scope works to support disabled people and their families through practical information and support, particularly at the time of diagnosis and in a child’s early years.

Sir George met Kally Johnson, the Manager, and was pleased to see a large number of customers in the shop moments after it opened.
