Just about the last fete of the summer took place in the grounds of the Weyhill Fair Pub on Sunday, raising funds for Weyhill Church.
There was a display by the Sarum Stars Cheerleaders, and then a dog show. Attractions included the odd ball jugglers, pony rides, a bouncy castle and a whisky draw.
The funds raised go towards maintaining the historic church of St Michael and All Angels, for the benefit of the local community. “The Church did really well to get such generous sponsorship from local organisations, who bought advertisements in the programme and helped raise a substantial sum of money.”
