Sir George visited Treerunners off Cowdown Lane on Saturday morning, along with County Cllr Andrew Gibson. The site was badly damaged by the storms a week ago, which brought down the trees which linked the walkways.
He discussed with Ben Emley how best to get this popular attraction up and running, and promised to contact Test Valley Borough Council to see if any planning application might be sympathetically and swiftly processed.

"There is a suitable site next door to the existing Treerunners site which could be used, and the season was due to begin on March 1st. I know how popular this attraction is both locally and nationally, and I want to help them get the show back on the road".

Sir George is exploring a number of options with Test Valley Borough Council.
