The Town Mayor and Mayoress of Whitchurch, Cllr John Clark and Rosemary Crumplin organised a concert at Testbourne Community School in Whitchurch to raise funds for the young people of the Whitchurch community through the Testbourne and Primary schools, and the Scouts and Youth Clubs.

The concert was given by the Military Wives Choir from Middle Wallop and the music commemorated the Centenary of the First World War.

They were supported by the Bella Voce choir from Testbourne Community School, and over 200 people came to the Sports Hall at Testbourne Community School to enjoy the concert. "This was a very enjoyable and very professional concert, which has raised a very useful sum of money for local charities, working with our young people."

Alongside the Mayor of Whitchurch were the Mayors of Test Valley and Basingstoke & Deane.
