Nine gardens were opened to the public at Wildhern, to raise funds for Parkinsons UK. "This is a very popular fixture, and by the time we left at 3.30, over a hundred people had bought tickets, raising over £500 for Parkinsons UK. Many congratulations to Jean Pitfield of Oakwood for organising the event, and I was delighted to hear that at least two of the gardens on display will be taking part in the National Gardens Scheme in June."

All the gardens were of different types and designs, from very formal to cottage garden style. After doing the tour of the gardens, teas were available at the village hall.
