The Prime Minister's wife, Samantha Cameron, held a reception at Downing Street for Sebastian's Action Trust.

The Trust has a home in North Waltham, Bluebells, which provides holidays for the families of children with life threatening illnesses. Local MPs Maria Miller and Sir George went to the reception, where they met sponsors, staff and the families of those who had stayed at Bluebells.

"Jane Gates, who tragically lost her son Sebastian, has done fantastically well to raise the funds to build Bluebells and then run it, providing such high quality care and support for families with a child who has a life threatening disease, and who need a break from their daily routine".

The MPs were told that Jane hopes to extend the building of Bluebells, and is also thinking of opening another home in Berkshire.
