Sir George at Hatherden Village Fete in Wildhern on Sunday June 12th. On the left, Viv Slingsby, a teacher at Hatherden School, with the Head, Ann Smyth, all raising funds for the school and the Parochial Church Council. “This is always a first class fete, and to-day was no exception with a really good turn out”.
It was Sir George's third fete of the day, having looked in at Overton School Fete and Shipton Bellinger Village Fete, where Lady Young stocked up with plants and cakes.
