Guest Speaker at the North West Hampshire Association's lunch at St Mary Bourne Village Hall was Shadow Home Secretary, Ann Widdecombe. She addressed a packed meeting of supporters, whom she told that the Conservatives could win the next election. "Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to wake up on May 4th, and to see the grin wiped off the face of Tony Blair, and all those who think the next election is a foregone conclusion, as the television pictures showed William Hague walking into No 10. We can win and we must win for the sake of the country."
After speaking, Ann Widdecombe signed copies of her book before going on to speak in South Dorset.
With Ann Widdecombe in the picture are Sir George, Christopher Van der Noot, Association Chairman and on the right Robert Jenner, the new agent for North West Hants and Romsey Conservative Associations.
