Sir George debates Hunting Bill on TV

On the day the House of Commons votes on the options in the Hunting Bill, Sir George explains why he opposes the proposed ban. "I don't think it right to criminalise my constituents who take part in traditional country pursuits; nor do I think it right for Parliament to spend time on this issue, when other challenges confront the country."
In the vote, Sir George voted first for self-regulation; when that was defeated, he voted for statutory regulation; and when that was defeated he voted against the ban.
