Peter Evans shows Sir George the Burghclere Village Design statement, which is going through the consultative process. "I am delighted that Burghclere is doing this; those villages that have completed the course find that adopting a design statement gives them added protection from insensitive development, as well as generating pride in the village's history." The exhibition was in the Portal Hall, Burghclere to coincide with the Burghclere and Newtown Hortiicultural Society Spring Show.
