Sir George Young buys a cake from the Neighbourcare Cake Stall when he visits the Neighbourcare Open Day.

He had the opportunity to visit and support many of the charitable organisations who had fund raising stalls there.

"Neighbourcare have taken on the management of St Anne’s Hall, which has had major new refurbishment. They are looking ahead and it is hoped that many of the other activities, including the newly formed luncheon club, will continue to thrive under the umbrella of Neighbourcare.

Sir George had the opportunity to see some of the other services available from St Annes Hall

1."Hands that Help" service, offering cleaning, gardening , shopping.

2."Time out" scheme, which is a sitting service for carers so they can have a break.

3. Management of the Meals on Wheels Kitchen.

4.Friends of Neighboucare Care Club. This is newly formed and the membership is 300, offering new activities.

Also featuring at the Open Day was the latest venture - the Charity Shop - situated at the back of St Ann’s open every Thursday 9-30am to 12.30pm
