Under their talented Conductor, Kevin Riley, the Andover Light Orchestra gave a concert at the Methodist Church in Bridge Street, Andover, in aid of Andover Shopmobility.
"The ALO played some popular and familiar items by Richard Rogers, Gershwin, Vaughan Williams and Bizet, but also performed some new works by Kevin Riley, who teaches music at Thorngrove School. These were very well-received by the audience."
The ALO's next concert will be on December 7th at the Cricklade Theatre.

Gerry Blythe, Chairman of Shopmobility, thanked the orchestra for its generosity. He explained that, while Test Valley Borough Council gave a generous grant, Shopmobility, which had 900 clients with ages ranging from 8 to 80, needed to raise a substantial sum of money itself every year.
