The Great Monxton Muck Duck Race took place on the Bank Holiday, raising £929 for the Amport School Building Appeal.
Rhonda Smith, former Chairman of Governors, releases the ducks (left) while a steward prevents the ducks going down the weir.
The ducks sailed down the Pillhill Brook, ending at the finishing line at The Black Swan.
"There was a tremedous response from local people; the funds raised complete the Building Appeal, and will go towards finishing the playground flooring and buying the last pieces of play equipment."
