Alan and Mel Gatwood opened the gardens at their home at Sandleford Place, Newtown to raise money for cancer charities and Newtown Church. "The garden with its spectacular herbaceous border, its walled garden, grounds and woodland walk were very enjoyable, with some excellent plants on sale as well. It was splendid to see so many people enjoying the occasion."
