The League of Friends of Andover Hospital benefitted from an Open Garden Day, organised by the Clatford Valley Garden Club. Six houses including Malt Cottage (above) opened their grounds to visitors on a fine Sunday. Visitors could have a cream tea at the last house, in Kingsmead, owned by League of Friends Chairman Mike Reynolds.
"I know the League is grateful to the Club for this initiative. We picked up some useful horticultural tips on the way round, and bought a pot of local honey."
