St Mary Bourne's 54th Flower Show and Fete took place on one of the hottest days of the year, and Sir George stands by the winning entry in the Scarecrow Competition with the Show's Chairman Peter St Quentin (left) and Michael Widen (right), the principal organiser.
"This was another magnificent effort, with a helicopter display by the Blue Eagles and music from the Basingstoke Brass Band. The tortoise racing and the Clown Magician were also very popular."
The proceeds from the event go to local good causes, such as St Mary Bourne Charities, the Pre-school Playgroup, the Football Club and the Village Community Shop
